7 Days – Lima & Cusco Completisimo

Day 1: …/ Lima

Reception at Jorge Chavez airport in Lima, airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Leisure time.

Day 2: Lima City Tour

Breakfast. We will begin our tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San isidro. We will visit the Finantial Center, the Golf , the Olivar, The Huaca Pucllana, Pre Inca Ceremonial, temple in the form of a pyramid (panoramic view).
Continuing our tour we will go to the historic center of Lima, declared by UNESCO in 1991 Cultural Heritage of Humanity, where the center of the spanish colony.  You’ll get to know the main square (or Plaza Principal), the Cathedral of Lima, the Palace of Government, Municipalidad Palace, the Desamparados station, among others (panoramic view).
Finally you’ll get to know the main mall at Miraflores Larcomar where you’ll have the option to stay for shopping or  a meal, or return to your hotel.

Day 3: Lima / Cusco: City & Archaeological Park Tour

Breakfast. 

At the appropriate time, transfer from the hotel to Jorge Chavez Airport to board your flight to the city of Cusco. Reception at the Velasco Astete airport in the City of Cusco and transfer to the chosen hotel. Accommodation. Rest of the morning free to acclimatize to the height of 3,360 m.a.s.l.

In the afternoon, Half-day excursion where you visit the cathedral, the “Qorikancha” or Temple of the Sun and the four ruins surrounding the city of Cusco: The Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, located 2km outside the city, a monumental complex considered jointly with the city of Cusco as the first among the new seven Wonders of the World. Impressive work planned and built by the Andean man. Q´enqo: Located 3km from the city, a ceremonial and cult center. Puca Pucara, located 6km from the city, an administrative and military center that, due to its strategic position, served as a checkpoint on the Inca trails. Tambomachay, located 7 km from the city and at 3,700 m altitude, known as the Inca baths. Overnight at the selected hotel.

Day 4: Cusco The Sacred Valley: Pisac & Ollantaytambo

Breakfast. Full day excursion to the Inca Sacred Valley. We’ll have the opportunity to meet typical artisan market of Pisac which offers various examples of craftsmanship, the most important lines of textiles and ceramics, as well as the Indian market where the people come from different native communities to stock or sell their products. Only on Sundays we celebrate the traditional Mass in Quechua with the assistance of Mayors Varayocs or indigenous communities in the jurisdiction.

They will also visit the archaeological park of Ollantaytambo which is a gigantic agricultural, administrative, social, religious and military Tahuantinsuyo times. Located at 97Kms away from Cusco city. Overnight at selected hotel in the Sacred Valley.

Day 5: Valle Sagrado / Machu Picchu

Breakfast. Transfer from your hotel to the train station where you start your trip to Machu Picchu train service of your choice*. The 112km railway route away from Cusco and the ruins Bridge station is parallel to the river Urubamba, during his trip will appreciate the beautiful vegetation of the high jungle and majestic peaks, traverse two tunnels and finally arrive at the station of Puente Ruins. This day you can enjoy a buffet lumch at a local restaurant. Overnignt at the selected hotel.

Day 6: Machu Picchu / Cusco

Breakfast. At the indicated time, which will address tourist transport minibuses, after 8 km climb, reach the architectural complex of Machu Picchu. Here begins the tour on a path that leads to the unique citadel where Hall Plaza, temples, tanks, staircases, fountains, walkways, lookouts, cemeteries … and the temple of the sun, Intiwatana (sundial ) the temple of the three windows and other charms. At indicated time transfer back to Cusco city and back to your hotel. Lunch is include. In the afternoon transfer to your selected hotel.

Day 7: Cusco/…

Breakfast in the hotel, and at the coordinated time, transportation to the airport for return flight home.
