7 Days – Perú Enigmatic

Day 1: Lima / Paracas

Reception at Lima’s “Jorge Chávez” airport and transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon, we will begin our tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San isidro. We will visit the Finantial Center, the Golf , the Olivar, The Huaca Pucllana, Pre Inca Ceremonial, temple in the form of a pyramid (panoramic view).

Continuing our tour we will go to the historic center of Lima, declared by UNESCO in 1991 Cultural Heritage of Humanity, where the center of the spanish colony.  You’ll get to know the main square (or Plaza Principal), the Cathedral of Lima, the Palace of Government, Municipalidad Palace, the Desamparados station, among others (panoramic view).

Finally you’ll get to know the main mall at Miraflores Larcomar where you’ll have the option to stay for shopping or  a meal, or return to your hotel.

Day 2: Lima / Paracas

At the indicated time transfer to the bus station to go to the city of Paracas. Upon arrival we will go to Pisco International Airport to start our trip and fly over the enigmatic Nazca Lines (Duration of the overflight 1 hour and 40 minutes).

On the tour you will appreciate the Ocucaje Valley, (panoramic view of the mountains that keep marine fossil remains 150 million years old), Santa Cruz Valley, Palpa, Viscas, Ingenio, where the Paracas and Nazca cultures were developed ( 800 BC-700 AD We will fly over 12 Classic Geoglyphs such as the spider, the monkey the dog, the lizard, the hummingbird, the condor, the hands among others, they are figures in large dimensions that reach 15 to 300m each and with a depth 30 cm These images on the surface of the desert are so gigantic that the only way to be able to appreciate them in their total dimension is by doing it from the sky.

Day 3: Paracas / Lima

Breakfast.Transfer of the chosen Hotel to the Puerto de Ballestas. Departure very early in the morning to the beautiful resort of Paracas. After arriving at this port we will go to the dock to leave in comfortable sliders specially conditioned for this trip to the Ballestas Islands, you will appreciate during the crossing the famous Candelabro, considered as the start of the Nazca Lines, rock formations that house an important marine fauna where large colonies of guaneras such as the guanay, the booby, the tendril among others stand out, in addition to some examples of Peruvian penguins (from Humbolt) in danger of extinction. A large number of sea lions are also concentrated in their two varieties (fine wolf and wild wolf) among other species. Approximately after 02 hours we return to the Port of Paracas. At agreed time return to the chosen hotel. Later return to the city of Lima.Overnight at the selected hotel.

Day 4: Lima / Cusco

Breakfast. At the appropriate time, transfer from the hotel to Jorge Chavez Airport to board your flight to the city of Cusco. Reception at the Velasco Astete airport in the City of Cusco and transfer to the chosen hotel. Accommodation. Rest of the morning free to acclimatize to the height of 3,360 m.a.s.l.

In the afternoon, Half-day excursion where you visit the cathedral, the “Qorikancha” or Temple of the Sun and the four ruins surrounding the city of Cusco: The Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, located 2km outside the city, a monumental complex considered jointly with the city of Cusco as the first among the new seven Wonders of the World. Impressive work planned and built by the Andean man. Q´enqo: Located 3km from the city, a ceremonial and cult center. Puca Pucara, located 6km from the city, an administrative and military center that, due to its strategic position, served as a checkpoint on the Inca trails. Tambomachay, located 7 km from the city and at 3,700 m altitude, known as the Inca baths.

Day 5: Cusco / Sacred Valley / Aguas Calientes

Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Inca. We’ll have the opportunity to visita typical artisan market in Pisac, which offers various examples of craftsmanship, the most important lines of textiles and ceramics, as well as the Indian market where the people come from different native communities to stock or sell their products. Only on Sundays, we have the opportunity to celebrate the traditional Mass in Quechua with the assistance of Mayors Varayocs or indigenous communities in the jurisdiction. 

Next, we will visit the archaeological park of Ollantaytambo which is a gigantic agricultural, administrative, social, religious and military Tahuantinsuyo times. Located at 97Kms. away from Cusco city.

At the indicated time, transfer to Ollantaytambo train station to start your trip to Aguas Calientes. Overnight at the selected hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Day 6: Machu Picchu / Cusco

Breakfast. 

At the indicated time, they will board the turist transpor minibuses, after 8 km of ascent, we will arrive at the architectural complex of Machu Picchu. Here begins the guided tour of a path that leads to the unique citadel where we find squares, temples, reservoirs, stairways, water fountains, platforms, guard posts, cemeteries … as well as the temple of the sun, the Intiwatana (solar clock) the temple of the three windows among other charms. It includes lunch. In the afternoon return to Cusco and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the selected hotel.

Breakfast. 

At selected time transfer from the hotel to the airport for your international or domestic flight.
