4 Days – Flavors of Lima

Day 1: Arrival

• Reception at Jorge Chavez Intl Airport, and car transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Gastronomy Tour

Lunch Tour Option

• Breakfast included in your hotel.
• At the coordinated time, await pickup at hotel reception and embark on the most complete culinary tour of Lima.
• 1st Stop: Visit a small, artesinal coffee roastery in the colonial & bohemian district of Barranco, where every day they choose the ideal beans to serve some of the best organic Peruvian coffee available.
• Breakfast included in your hotel.
• 2nd Stop: visit a traditional market in the district of San Isidro to try local fruits and learn about Peru’s culinary influence globally.
• 3rd Stop: Visit a traditional market in the district of San Isidro to taste local fruits and learn about their influence on the evolution of world cuisine.
• 4th Stop: enjoy a gourmet Peruvian lunch at Huaca Pucllana Restaurant located in the modern neighborhood of Miraflores yet overlooking an ancient archeological ruins of the same name, dating back to 500 AD.
• After lunch, return to hotel for rest & free leisure time for remainder of the day.

Dinner Tour Option

• 1st Stop: Visit a restaurant with one of the most spectacular views of the Lima coastline, where a professional Peruvian bartender will teach you how to make the perfect Pisco Sour from scratch.
• 2nd Stop: A course of appetizers, we’ll sample a range of typical foods from the Peruvian Amazon.
• 3rd Stop: Main course & another Pisco Sour at Huaca Pucllana Restaurant, a classic among Limenos, located in the modern neighborhood of Miraflores yet overlooking an ancient archeological ruins of the same name, dating back to 500 AD.
• 4th Stop: To finish the night, we’ll drive to the colonial & bohemian neighborhood of Barranco for dessert.
• After dessert, transfer back to hotel or you are free to stay out and enjoy the buzzing nightlife of Barranco.

Day 3: City Tour & Dinner Show

• Breakfast.
• You’ll begin the tour by driving by for a panoramic daytime view of the Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca temple from the 4th Century AD located in Miraflores on our way to the Historic Center in Downtown Lima.
• Once we arrive in the Historic Center of Lima, we will leave the car and enjoy a walking tour through the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral of Lima, the Government Palace, The Municipal Palace, and a visit to the Convent of Santo Domingo.
• Return to hotel.
• At approximately 18:30, we’ll pick you up from the hotel again and proceed to a restaurant to enjoy a tasty buffet of Pervian food while taking in a dinner show of dancing from the 3 different regions of Peru: the coast, mountains, and jungle.

Day 4: Lima

After breakfast in the hotel, at coordinated time you will be picked up and taken to the airport to catch your return flight home.
